A CROWN OF ROSES BLOOMING IN THE SEA OF GREY

The head dress is easy to make and is comprised of  two headbands covered and joined together with dangly bits! The headbands have tails which can then be tied together to adjust size, the hood is glued or sewn along the front fringe section to cover the head and flowers are added where the dangly bits tie on, more decorative dangles are then added to bulk out each side.

There is an archetypal beauty to these head dresses that people seem to recognise without being able to put their finger on it, as with the characters in general. They frame and extenuate the features of the face and the red flowers are symbolic of mourning, romance, grief and beauty lost.
